01

App data

The Screenshot Shelf app does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data. It contains no advertising, analytics, tracking, or third-party data collection SDKs.

02

Beta download email

When you voluntarily enter an email address on this website, Lumany LLC stores it to provide beta access and essential release information. It is not sold or shared for third-party advertising, and you may request deletion at any time.

03

Folder access

The app accesses only the Screenshots and Downloads locations you explicitly select through the macOS folder picker. That access is used to display, search, organize, copy, drag, reveal, rename, annotate, and delete image files at your direction.

04

Optional Photos access

If you choose Connect Photos, the app uses Apple’s Photos framework to browse still images in your system Photos library. Titles, notes, pins, search data, and review decisions stay on your Mac. Full-quality export copies are cached locally for copying, dragging, and sharing; iCloud originals may download through Apple when needed. Your Photos library is not uploaded to Lumany LLC.

05

On-device processing

Text recognition, visual indexing, search ranking, thumbnails, private notes, pins, shelf state, and review metadata are processed and stored locally on your Mac. Image content is not uploaded to Lumany LLC. Sharing sends only the files you choose to the destination you select; iCloud Photos transfers are handled by Apple.

06

Retention and deletion

Local metadata and cached export copies remain on your Mac until their application data is deleted. Removing the app alone may leave this data behind. Beta access emails are kept while the beta is active or until you ask Lumany LLC to delete yours. Folder-based images move to macOS Trash only at your direction. Deleting from Photos requires confirmation and uses Photos’ Recently Deleted recovery.

07

Changes

If the app’s data practices change, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosure will be updated before the relevant release.
